Our Value Proposition
For users of oxyacetylene and other industrial gases who cut, heat, solder, braze, or fuse, Aquygen™ is a new industrial gas that offers greater performance and safety at a lower cost and with no toxic emissions. Compared with oxyacetylene, Aquygen™ produces no toxic fumes, can be produced inexpensively on demand, heats and cuts faster and more precisely, and can work different materials simultaneously.
For vehicle manufacturers, Aquygen™ is a fuel additive that can significantly increase fuel economy and efficiency while decreasing polluting emissions. Unlike other alternative energy sources, Aquygen™ is an evolutionary technology that requires minimal modifications to existing systems to produce tremendous benefits.
What Is Aquygen™?
Aquygen™, also known as HHO, is an evolutionary industrial gas invented by our Founder and Chairman Emeritus, Dennis Klein. Our patented electrolyzing gas generator converts ordinary water into a hydrogen/oxygen gas that possesses several unique properties.
Aquygen™ is the product of evolutionary, not revolutionary, invention. HTA values the research and hard work of generations past, and strives to produce methods and materials that work to enhance existing technologies. Aquygen™ supplements standard vehicle fuels such as gasoline and diesel, increasing BTUs while decreasing emissions. Aquygen™ can also replace conventional soldering, brazing and cutting gases for use with standard equipment and techniques while producing superior results with no oxidation, no burn back, and minimal slag.
But Aquygen™ is more than the average industrial gas. We see a greater potential, beyond even the extraordinary results that already set Aquygen™ in a class by itself. Driven by this broader vision, we have continued to develop new applications for Aquygen™, including our Hybrid Hydrogen Oxygen System (HHOS). With it, Aquygen™ Gas can be used as a primary fuel source or a fuel additive for gasoline and diesel engines. We have applied this breakthrough method in two prototype vehicles—a 1994 Ford Escort Wagon and a 1998 Ford Ranger pickup. Our current prototype generates Aquygen™ as it runs. Minimal engine modifications allow the car to combine gasoline and Aquygen™ for a typical net increase in fuel efficiency of 20-30%.
Because the HHOS is evolutionary, not revolutionary, it utilizes the time-tested technology of the internal combustion engine and the existing refueling infrastructure. The HHOS would save the automobile industry billions of dollars in retooling costs as compared to fuel cell vehicles and other "cars of the future."
